OUR PART OR FULL TIME DANCE TRAINING COURSE

This program is fully accredited with BSSS (Board of Senior Secondary Studies).

Since its beginning in 1988 CDDC’s vocational training course has created many talented and committed dancers who have successfully gained contracts with The Australian Ballet, Bangara, West Australian Ballet, Chunky Moves, English National Ballet, Royal Winnipeg Ballet and many more have gone on to excel in choreography, film work, musical theatre, commercial dance and teaching.

CDDC’s vocational dance course for year 7 – 12 students allows young dancers to participate in a graduated training course from part to full time daily dance tuition alongside the students’ academic studies in public or private high schools and colleges in the ACT.

Students are able to specialize in classical ballet, contemporary dance or musical theatre/commercial dance.

Entry is by audition.

"CDDC’s full and part time programs are perfect for aspiring young dancers. One of the best aspects of the full time program was that it allowed me to train in such a broad range of dance styles. I am so thankful for this exposure to many styles, and different teachers within some styles, as it helped me to become a more versatile dancer - an increasingly important trait for dancers today."
