PAUL KNOBLOCH DIRECT FROM EUROPE WORKSHOPS:
CDDC is very proud to present Paul Knobloch Direct from Europe Workshops.
Former CDDC student now Leading Artist with the Bejart Ballet Lausanne will present two days of workshops exclusively at CDDC.

Sunday 15 August Classical Ballet Workshops & Sunday 22 August Contemporary Dance Workshops.

Discounts apply for multiple classes. These workshops are open to dancers outside CDDC so secure your place now. Bookings are essential, download the booking form for full details HERE.

25th Anniversary
The 25th Celebrations have got off to a great start and there’s so much more to come throughout the remainder of the year!

CELEBRATION
A very big thank you to everyone who attended CDDC’s 25th Anniversary Celebration and Concert Theme Launch on the 4th May and the event was a wonderful success and it was great to share this great milestone.
It was a fantastic event and I am sure you will agree it’s great to see so much activity here at CDDC.
The performances were wonderful and the spectacular tutu cake was tutu much and the children really enjoyed the cupcake surprise!

TAP DOGS WORKSHOP
Following the celebration CDDC tap students participated in a lively, energetic and exhilarating tap workshop with our 25th Celebration special guest Map Papas from the Tap Dogs. Judging by the smiles and laughter the students thoroughly enjoyed this memorable dance experience.

CONTEMPORARY WORKSHOP
Another fantastic treat last week Sara Black 2008 Helpmann Award Winner conducted a contemporary workshop for CDDC students. This was extra special because Sara trained at CDDC and is now a member of Chunky Moves. It was a wonderful highlight for the students to work with Sara and to also discuss their dance with her.

THE CONCERT
The 25th Anniversary Concert will be a magical night of fantastic entertainment. Invite everyone you know as it’s sure to be a memorable performance.
We are honoured to share CDDC's 25th Anniversary Concert with you. To mark this fantastic milestone we are inviting you to DRESS UP as yourself or your favourite star to walk the red carpet. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed.

Tickets are on sale now and you can purchase online at the Canberra Theatre Centre website www.canberratheatrecentre.com.au Get in early to get the best seats!

LEADING UP TO THE CONCERT
Whilst it’s cold outside CDDC is turning up the heat!!! We begin our concert rehearsals after the June long weekend the first rehearsal and run through will take place at CDDC studios on Tuesday 15th June and thereafter one weekly leading up to the final week of rehearsals and performance.
All students should have downloaded all the information in the concert pack and signed and returned their forms to the office. If you have not already done so please return these as soon as possible.
CDDC teachers have handed out costume information to all students and your prompt action on this matter is greatly appreciated by all concerned. If you have not received any information please follow this up with your children’s teacher.

SPECIAL CONCERT MAKEUP WORKSHOP
Register now at the CDDC office for the Concerts Stage Make up Workshop, cost: $20.00 for Junior and Senior Students at CDDC studios, Saturday 24th July 2:30 – 4:00pm. Please bring you own make up to this demonstration and learn tips on how to apply make up.
